Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh announced today that the group had gotten a proposal to stop the fighting that was made after negotiations in Paris and would examine it, saying he would go to Cairo for talks on the idea.
Haniyeh said the group’s main goal was to stop Israel’s military attack and a complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza.
