After undergoing a BBL surgery in Turkey, Demi Agoglia, 26, experienced chest pains and passed away on Monday. She was supposed to fly back to Salford, Greater Manchester that day. Her partner Bradley Jones attempted to revive her with CPR when she had a cardiac arrest in a cab on their way to a post-op appointment on Thursday. She was taken to ICU but did not survive.

Demi, whose youngest son is seven months old, is believed to have suffered a series of heart attacks caused by a fat embolism.

She flew to Turkey for the surgery despite having previously undergone ‘botched’ dental work and another procedure.

Carl, the brother of Demi Agoglia, who died after a BBL surgery in Turkey, urges others not to follow her example. He says his family and her partner tried to stop her from going, but she was determined to have the procedure. She had also gone to Turkey before for dental work.

He tells The Sun: ‘We are devastated and shocked by what happened. She went to Istanbul for the surgery.

‘Her partner is still there and his dad has joined him.

‘I would advise anyone who is thinking of going to Turkey for an operation to avoid it. Her boyfriend was against it too.

‘She was 26 and made her own decisions. Her mum also didn’t want her to go.

‘We were told that she had a cardiac arrest in a taxi and her boyfriend performed CPR on her.

‘We believe they were on their way to the clinic for a follow-up when she collapsed.

‘They took her to the hospital in a cab with her partner. She stopped breathing in the cab.

‘He did CPR. I don’t know if she regained consciousness and died in the hospital. That’s unclear. We don’t know the full details.
