Cardi B has made it clear that she is not getting back together with her estranged husband Offset, despite their recent public appearances. The rapper took to Instagram Live on Thursday to address the rumors that have been swirling around her relationship status, and she did not mince words.

“I just want to let y’all know that I’m not back with Offset. We’re not in a bad place, we’re not in a good place, we’re just co-parenting,” she said. “We’re just two people that are trying to get along for the sake of our daughter.”

Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in September, after three years of marriage. The couple has a 2-year-old daughter, Kulture, who is their main priority. Cardi B explained that she and Offset have been spending time together for the sake of their child, and because they still have love and respect for each other.

“I don’t want people to think that we’re back together because we’re not. We’re just trying to be civil and mature about this situation,” she said. “We have a lot of history together, we have a lot of love for each other, but we’re not together.”

She also denied that their recent outings were a publicity stunt to promote their music or careers. She said that she and Offset are both successful enough on their own, and they don’t need to fake anything for attention.

“We don’t need to do stunts for anything. We’re both doing great in our careers, we’re both making money, we’re both happy,” she said. “We don’t need to do anything for clout or for fame.”

Cardi B also shut down the speculation that she and Offset were reconciling because he bought her a Rolls-Royce for her birthday. She said that she appreciated the gesture, but it did not change her decision to end their marriage.

“He’s a very generous person, he always has been. He bought me a car because he wanted to, not because he wanted me back,” she said. “He knows that I love cars, he knows that I love Rolls-Royces, so he got me one. But that doesn’t mean that I’m going to take him back.”

She added that she is not interested in dating anyone else right now, and she is focusing on herself and her daughter. She said that she is happy with her life, and she does not need a man to complete her.

“I’m not looking for nobody, I’m not thirsty for nobody, I’m not lonely,” she said. “I’m very content with myself, I’m very happy with myself, I’m very happy with my daughter. I don’t need a man to make me happy.”
