Officers were led to a shooting that wounded a 14-year-old boy on Saturday morning in northwest Houston by a ShotSpotter alert, the Houston Police Department said.
The shooting happened at 2:50 a.m. in the 6400 block of Antoine Drive, according to the report.
The teen had a gunshot wound in his leg and was rushed to a nearby hospital. He is likely to recover.
The teen was robbed and the robber, a bearded white man, ran away with his money.
