Frisco police say a child pornography charge has been filed against a former youth pastor in North Texas.
On Thursday, police arrested Kyle Timothy Poff, 36, for having child pornography. He has a $10,000 bail, police said. His lawyer is unknown.
After getting an online report of a potential child pornography case, Frisco police investigated the matter and secured an arrest warrant for Poff. He was arrested at his residence on Pine Trail Drive in Little Elm, according to the police.
According to the police, Poff used to be a youth pastor in Frisco and Arlington. This is why they are requesting people who know anything to get in touch with them.
The police did not give any details about Poff’s past work as a youth pastor, such as when or where he did it.
Anyone who has information about Poff’s case can contact Frisco police at 972-292-6010. The police also said that people can send tips anonymously by texting “FRISCOPD” and the tip to 847411 or by using the Frisco PD app.
