Britain has imposed six new sanctions on its counter-terrorism list, including four people linked to the Palestinian militant group Hamas, according to the UK government website today.
The move came shortly after the US announced a third round of sanctions on Hamas, targeting its leaders and funders, following its assault on Israel last month.
The US Treasury Department said in a statement it coordinated with Britain on this action.
