A fire engulfed a 50-foot boat in the San Pedro Harbor on Saturday afternoon, and firefighters quickly arrived to put it out.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said the fire started at 4:08 p.m. in Berth 85, near the Los Angeles Maritime Museum on Harbor Boulevard between Fifth and Sixth streets.

The cause of the fire is unknown. Authorities said firefighters extinguished the flames by 4:16 p.m.
One person was checked for possible smoke inhalation.
