A reported shooting involving an officer occurred on Thursday morning in Oklahoma City, police said.

The shooting took place near NE 12th and Lottie, following a domestic dispute at a senior living complex in the vicinity.

According to officials, a male suspect was seen brandishing a gun outside the complex. He then entered a common area inside the complex, pursued by officers.

Police said the suspect fired his gun inside the complex and aimed it at the officers. One officer responded by shooting and killing the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing and no further details are available.
