According to an email sent to families on Tuesday evening, a bus driver for the Deer Creek School District was arrested for having child pornography.
The email did not name the bus driver, who was arrested by Edmond Police at or around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, away from school grounds.
The driver, who has worked for the district for a long time with no issues reported, is on administrative leave, the district says.
The investigation is ongoing by Edmond Police and the Deer Creek School District.
