Tucker Carlson, the controversial news media personality who used to work for Fox News, is a supporter of Donald Trump.

He recently interviewed the former president, who was impeached twice and indicted four times, on Aug. 23 on his X social media talk show. On Wednesday, he joined conservative podcast host Adam Carolla to talk about his time with the troubled politician — and he ended up saying that he still fears for Trump’s life.

“We’re heading toward assassination,” Carlson said, with rising intensity.

Carlson’s reasoning was that, so far, the other attempts from what he calls “permanent Washington” have failed to stop the Republican party’s frontrunner for the 2024 presidential election.
